Improving Special Education Services

Wednesday, June 4, 2014
8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Health Services Building Training Rooms ABC
1500 Capitol Avenue
Sacramento, CA

Meeting Purpose

The purpose of these Improving Special Education Services (ISES) biannual meetings is to bring together California stakeholders to review and analyze the Annual Performance Report (APR) data that informs the State Performance Plan (SPP). This year the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) has made significant changes to the State Performance Plan (SPP), eliminating the Annual Performance Report (APR) requiring states to add new targets, and adding a new indicator 17, the State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP). The focus of this meeting will be to complete the discussion of new targets for federal fiscal year 2013 through federal fiscal year 2018.
