Meeting Purpose

Generally, the purpose of these biannual meetings is to bring together California stakeholders to review and analyze the Annual Performance Report (APR) data that informs the State Performance Plan (SPP) improvement activities. In addition, the California Department of Education (CDE) initiated a two-year planning process in order to have more meaningful discussions of data, needs, and priorities. This process will culminate in the improvement plans for the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2012 SPP and APR (due February 2014.) As a result we will focus on the FFY 2011 APR and also a long term review of improvement activities.
